Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy applies to purchases made from All Used Auto Parts World (“we,” “us,” “our”). We sell quality, tested OEM used parts with warranty coverage ranging from 30 days to 6 months, depending on the part. The warranty covers the part itself (no labor) under normal use and proper installation.

Warranty Periods

  • 30 Days — Electrical accessories, sensors, alternators, starters, small mechanical parts.
  • 90 Days — Standard drivetrain and mechanical: most engines, transmissions, transfer cases, differentials.
  • 6 Months — Selected premium engines/transmissions and parts labeled as “6-Month Warranty” at time of sale.

The warranty term shown on your invoice or product page governs if it differs from the list above. Mileage tiers (where applicable) do not change the warranty length unless explicitly noted.

What This Warranty Covers

  • Defects in materials or workmanship of the part sold, under normal, intended use.
  • Engines: long block components (block, heads, internal lubricated parts). Accessories and bolt-ons are excluded unless specifically stated.
  • Transmissions/Transaxles: internal lubricated parts within the case. External sensors, mounts, lines, and coolers are excluded unless stated.
  • Differentials/Transfer Cases: internal lubricated parts within the housing.
  • Electronic modules only if the unit can be successfully programmed/initialized and fails under normal use thereafter.

What Is Not Covered

  • Labor, diagnostics, towing, rental, downtime, or incidental/consequential damages.
  • Improper installation, inadequate lubrication, incorrect or contaminated fluids, failure to prime oil systems, unflushed coolers/lines, or missing relearn/programming procedures.
  • Overheating, detonation, abuse, racing, off-road or commercial misuse beyond normal intended use.
  • External parts/accessories provided on assemblies as convenience items (intake/exhaust manifolds, turbos, fuel systems, wiring, sensors, mounts, belts, hoses, clutches, converters, etc.).
  • Pre-existing issues in the customer’s vehicle that damage the replacement part (cooling, lubrication, timing, electrical faults, etc.).
  • Seals and gaskets that are expected to be replaced during installation (unless explicitly stated).
  • Altered or disassembled units, missing tamper seals/ID marks, or units opened without our written authorization.

Installation Requirements (Eligibility)

To remain eligible for coverage, you must follow these industry-standard steps and keep proof:

  • Engines: replace oil and filter, valve cover gaskets as needed, rear main/front seals if leaking, thermostat and water pump as required; prime oil system before start; set timing/torque to OEM spec; use OEM-spec fluids.
  • Transmissions: flush/replace cooler and lines, install new filter (where applicable), fill with OEM-spec fluid, complete relearn/programming; verify correct cooler flow.
  • Differentials/Transfer Cases: replace fluid with OEM-spec, torque fasteners to spec, check venting.
  • Complete any VIN/programming or immobilizer procedures as applicable.
  • Installation by a qualified mechanic (ASE-certified or equivalent) is strongly recommended. Improper installation voids coverage.

How to File a Warranty Claim

  1. Stop using the vehicle to prevent further damage.
  2. Contact us within the warranty period with your order number:

  3. Provide diagnostic details:
    • Brief description of the issue and when it occurs.
    • Shop diagnosis/estimate or work order (if available).
    • Photos/videos of the installed part and any visible damage.
    • OBD-II codes or scan report (for drivetrain/electronic items).
  4. Do not remove, disassemble, or return the part until you receive RMA instructions.

Remedies

At our discretion and subject to availability, we will provide one of the following remedies:

  • Replacement with a comparable part; or
  • Repair contribution (parts-only); or
  • Refund or store credit up to the original purchase price of the part (excluding shipping, services, and fees).

Replacements/refunds require return of the original part in the condition received (normal diagnostic removal excepted) with all ID marks and tamper labels intact.

Returns & Shipping

  • All returns require a prior RMA.
  • For approved warranty claims within the coverage period, we will arrange reasonable return shipping or provide a label. If the part tests “no defect found,” shipping may be deducted.
  • Items damaged in transit must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photos so we can file a carrier claim.

Core Policy (if applicable)

Some parts carry a refundable core charge. Cores must be returned within the time shown on your invoice, complete and rebuildable. Core refunds are processed after inspection per our Core Return Policy.

Limitations

  • This warranty is for the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.
  • Maximum liability is limited to the original purchase price of the covered part. We do not cover labor, diagnostics, fluids, gaskets, shop supplies, towing, rental, or incidental/consequential damages.
  • Use outside normal driving conditions (racing, competition, extreme off-road) voids coverage.
  • Any modification or disassembly without our written authorization voids coverage.
